A decommissioned food processing plant was converted into a community-focused food hub that features a variety of tenants, including a full scale brewery, culinary college, as well as restaurants, retail offerings, and an outdoor climbing rock. Located in the heart of the Arts & Market District, 8th Street Market champions the diverse culinary offerings of the Ozarks. A highlight of the building is “The Vine,” a public art installation that was designed by local artist Dayton Castleman and depicts the White River as it flows into Beaver Lake. The artwork utilizes the sun to create shadows through a series of openings in the structure that reveal the river’s path on the sidewalk below.
