Red Barn

About

Red Barn is a multifamily agrihood in Bentonville. In response to the rapid expansion happening here, this property was developed with these principles in mind: preserving native soils while retaining and enhancing heritage fields, leveraging agriculture as a community-building amenity, furthering the city’s dedication to trail connectivity, and “Ozark living.”

The first phase of the project includes townhouses clustered around green spaces and flats over tuck-under parking. For the flats, metal panel facades were inspired by barns, chicken houses, and sheds seen locally. This industrial material is juxtaposed with wood screens and large screen porches. The townhouses feature whiteboard and batten, cedar, and warm gray brick, taking traditional materials in a modern direction. This is a joint-venture project between Green Circle Projects and Blue Crane with Green Circle Projects being the lead developer.
